When we recommend this product

If you have exhaust fans, then you have a draughtproofing issue that can easily be rectified with the installation of a Draftstoppa. Draftstoppa is an inexpensive way to seal ceiling fans once the fan is turned off. Draftstoppa is a set of balanced shutters which open when the fan is turned on and close when the fan is turned off, thus reducing cold draughts into your home. Australian designed and manufactured .

**This product is not suitable for fans which are ducted through to the roof. This product may not be suitable for 3 in 1 exhaust fans – check manufacturer's recommendations. You will also need to check that you have ample roof space to fit product

How to get the most from this product

Draught proofing is an excellent way to reduce cold air from entering your home and increasing your heating costs. Look at your entire home and see where else you can reduce those cold draughts – air conditioning vents, recessed down lights, building gaps and cracks that have appeared over time, and gaps around doors and windows. You could also consider replacement of existing fans with other systems - exhaust fans with self-closing blades, or the Draftstoppa Top Hat ceiling fan with an inbuilt draught eliminating device.

See this supplier for information and special Refit n' Save price on the Mistral exhaust fan with self-closing blades.
