When we recommend this product

The flue based Hot Water Booster is 100% Australian made and designed to refit existing flues. It uses the waste heat from the fire to heat water in a stanless steel tube that is incorporated into the flue. The system can be used with vented gravity fed hot water systems. In order to work in conjuction with solar hot water systems, a heat excahnger needs to be added between the flue system and the tank, to prevent overheating.

How to get the most from this product

The booster must only be connected to a vented low pressure (gravity feed) system (maximum 10 metres) and cannot be connected to an un-vented hot water system. It must be installed in accordance with AS 3500.4 and the appropriate requirements of the relevant building code or codes and should only be installed by a licensed Plumber
